Mining Maintenance and Engineering Services
HES Business Group provides mining maintenance services across Broken Hill, Cobar and the surrounding Far West NSW region. Our capabilities span on-site maintenance, breakdown support, component rebuilds, hydraulic and auto electrical work, fabrication, shutdown support and crane hire.
Every service below is delivered by our own trades, backed by our workshops and Component Rebuild Centre.
On-site maintenance services
Specialised diagnostics and breakdown support
Experienced personnel able to undertake fault finding and repairs on mobile equipment such as underground drills, loaders, trucks and associated plant.
Planned and shutdown maintenance
Additional trade support during shutdowns, plus major planned work and short-term work as required.
Workshop and rebuild services
Component rebuilds
Transmissions, axles, engines, hydraulic cylinders, drifters and other major components rebuilt in our Component Rebuild Centre.
Workshop repairs and rebuilds
Individual repairs through to complete rebuilds and overhauls of machines.
Specialist trade services
Hydraulic repairs and diagnostics
Fault finding, component replacement, repairs and any work required on hydraulic systems.
Auto electrical services
Diagnostics, repairs, fault finding and any machine electrical work.
Engineering and fabrication
Repairs, modifications and general fabrication tasks through CFE Engineering & Fabrication.
Equipment, hire and supply
Crane hire
Lifting support for maintenance, installation, removal and project work across the region.
Hydraulic hoses, fittings and BOA containers
Supply of hydraulic hoses and fittings, plus BOA containers for site storage and handling.
